Military Diet Results and Egg Hunts

I started the 3 day military diet last Monday. It was not the easiest, but that is because I can't stand plain tuna. I'm not going to bore anyone with what exactly I ate. Usually things get easier on the second day. Well, not for this girl! Cottage cheese?! I don't think so. I will spare you all my reasons why I cannot eat the stuff, but it is the one thing I have to find a substitute for when following this diet.

I wasn't able to do the final day. I needed something more filling than crackers and an egg; I was pulling up more flooring. It's a pretty good workout for your arms, I must say. It's going to take about 3 - 4 more days to get all the floor up. Any who, just doing the 2 out of the 3 days I lost 4.5 lbs, all without working out. Honestly, I have not worked out in a long time. I am horrible inspiration!!

I need to start changing my habits. Soon too! I will be doing the Pretty Muddy 5k Women's Run with my friend and old boss Megan on June 1st. For the next 30 days, hopefully even longer, I will be following some basic weight loss rules along with answering a question a day that will hopefully keep me on track as to why I am on this journey.

Those are the rules. And I will be adding a little weekly challenge to this.
This week, nothing but water to drink {not a problem for me} and I must do 30 burpees and 100 jumping jacks a day along with my running which I will start doing again.

Enough with the fitness talk now.

Friday, Jeremy had an interview. He has been out a job since January. Long story short, he was told he had a job with one company with better pay, put in his notice at the current job, and the better paying job fell through right at the last minute. Apparently they have done this to other people too! Any who... I am hoping that we hear something Monday. I love him, but its annoying having him home all day long! I'm sure being around me 24/7 is annoying as well. People need their space no matter how much you love being around them. There is a limit!

Saturday, all 3 kids went to Addison for their annual Easter egg hunt with my mom and aunt while I went to visit my Granny. When I went to pick them up and asked about how the egg hunt went, this is what I was shown.

Yes, that is a garbage bag filled with plastic Easter eggs! I guess my kids were some egg hunting maniacs!

And I will leave you guys with this! I love it!

  1. I love that last quote!

I hate tuna and cottage cheese.

...I guess that's all I have to say for now. =)
